Preserving this Peake family heritage home in tradtional colours of its era.

Originally built in 1886 by a St. Catharines doctor, the Peake family purchased the Chautauqua area cottage in 1919.  Now only 1 of 5 remaining historic homes, owner Miriam McEwen (Peake), maintains its natural appeal almost 100 years later.  During the time of british ruler Queen Anne, popular exterior paint colours were deep yellows, reds, and greens.

Old School Painting was entrusted to refinish this Niagara-On-The-Lake historic gem known as 'Peake Inn' to its original luster.  We are honoured to have been be a part of this Inn's great past.
